Interface EventSamples::OrderManager

The OrderManager component allows a client to submit orders which are processed in a back-end office. When an order is complete, the client is notified (asynchronously).

How to run the OrderManager demo:

• Ensure that the JDK 'java' runtime is in the current executable path, and CLASSPATH includes $JAGUAR/html/classes.
• Run "java com.sybase.jaguar.sample.events.OrderClient" to check the usage. Several different windows running this simultaneously is better.
• Run "java com.sybase.jaguar.sample.events.OrderOffice" to check the usage. Again several different windows is better.
• Follow the instructions on the Java consoles for the running Java applications.

The hand-coded files used by this sample are as follows:

• OrderManagerImpl.java (Java component)
• OrderClient.java (Java client application)
• OrderOffice.java (Java client application)
• PullOrderStatus.java (Thread class for async notification)
• OrderStatusListener.java (Java Beans style event listener)

All other files used by this sample are Jaguar-generated files.
